When trying to install the latest Houdini version I get an “Access denied” error once I run the installer. I disabled UAC, disabled the virus scanner, copied to a local hard drive. Still getting this error. Installing previous versions (15.340) works fine.

Any help would be appreciated!

Did that, too.
On one hand, I just want it to work, but on the other hand, I want to understand what the problem is. I never have any issues installing software, I never had any issues installing Houdini, why is the installer of the new version such a problem?
