so basically im trying to create a boat engine effect for a small project im doing but im struggling to follow this tutorial since so much has changed. Im struggling to read what hes connecting to as the video quality is a bit low

i have to same issue you have.
i try to do the same youtube's tutorial with houdini 16 without success.
is there a veteran than can help :
for example :
houdini 13 use VOPSOP node
which one replace it in houdini 16 ?
houdini 13 use subtract in VOPSOP node
which one replace it in houdini 16 ?

Houdini looks super powerful but is very frustrating for a newbie due to it hard learning curve.

Vopsop was replaced by attribvop. Not all operations translate one-to-one, as the attribvop has an expanded scope of capability.
