i think last year they released some recordings on vimeo. we need to wait for the event info page that's at the moment not released to the public.

1pm Thursday on the SideFX Siggraph schedule linked in the third post above.

So maybe we won't get a full H17 peek, but there's at least this which sounds like something new and interesting in the modeling world.

all it list from that link is “session on PolyDraw 1.0” new modelling tool that's 1 to say “Incredible new features!” sound like much more then 1

Right at the bottom of the page it also describes Polydraw in a little more detail..

They should also update and optimize the specular and the IOR, it's a bit gross.
