Hi all

I need a new card to run 5.5 and was wondering what the best card would be . I use a gf1 ddr right now and it just dont cut it.

I was looking at the new ATI 900xl any suggestions. I would like to stay at around the $1000.00 or less Canadian mark. \

There is an official system requirements page [sidefx.com] on this website & you can use it as a guide.

Personally, I'm using a GeForce2 Ti & it runs Houdini 5.5 just fine.

Thanks its good to hear that the lower priced cards work well. I cant wait to get into it without stalling on every move of the mouse.
