Since some time ago, I am getting weird viewport glitches when using wireframe display mode on my linux laptop, when running houdini on integrated Intel GPU. It looks like this:
It's an Intel integrated graphics, VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 3rd Gen Core processor Graphics Controller. And yes, it used to work before, as I remember.
Is there any chance to find out when it worked? Did you upgrade your drivers at some point? Switched to mesa from something else? Is it the houdini version maybe?
So, I checked the bug(?) against the houdini installations that I have on my laptop, the earliest 17.5 I could go to was 17.5.173, which showed the same viewport glitch; I also have some beta versions that I can not run any more, so I can not tell if the bug(?) was earlier in 17.5 or not. However 17.0.352 runs fine and shows no glitch.
Could it be related to line smoothing? I see that wireframe is not smoothed in 17.0 build, on the other hand, in 17.5 builds lines are smoothed and the viewport shows glitches.
