Custom attributes / masks karma material x

Hey,

a basic question regarding karma an materialx. Lets say I want a gradient or color to become a custom aov. How would I do that? getting it from geometry level into the aov?

If it's on the geometry and not something created in the shader, then it can be added in the render vars section of the karma render settings (Karma) node. Set the source type to Primvar.

it started to work for me when I removed the "ray:"
