Just as a friendly heads up,

(SuSE 10.0, 32bit)

I upgraded my Nvidia drivers from 1.0-7676 to 100.14.11 and noticed some massive slow downs when working with over 20,000 primitives. (Would take a minute to draw a frame). I went back and installed 1.0-9629 and everything is all speedy again. (I didn't want to go lower than 1.0-9629 since there were some TwinView fixes/features in that release.)
