Why hasn't Houdini fixed this annoying viewport bug after two major versions? Whether it's the Vellum Solver or the Pyro Solver in SOPs, as soon as you dive into the solver, the viewport stops updating! It's been two years and two major versions, 20 and 20.5, and this major bug is still not fixed. Despite so many people reporting this issue on the forums, technical support still asks me to provide detailed steps to reproduce the error. This is a problem that anyone can see with just a bit of interaction. At this point, it seems like 19.5 is still the most stable version. While 20 and 20.5 introduced many updates, the stability has only gotten worse. Does anyone else in the community feel the same?

SideFX in version 20 introduced many cardinal internal improvements, which should lead to a noticeable increase in productivity, as I understood from the streams. And all the plans look very tasty, but apparently the new configurations turned out to be too buggy. And they are debugging them little by little. Let me remind you that the unnoticeable for users rewriting of SOP took several years and led to a cardinal improvement in speed. So the work is underway.
