So, for the test I create a simple shader. Right-click - save to gallery. The default file name is Custom.gal in the settings folder. The file grows when adding materials, that is, the recording occurs.
And I set the gallery of materials to show the name of the gallery files. Add gallery, select Custom.gal and .... nothing. The materials from it do not appear in the gallery. What is wrong? What was intended by the developers?

Hello there.
The issue is that in "Keywords" you have to specify what you are saving it into. For example "Mantra" for Principle Shader.
And if you are working with MaterialX then you have to input "MaterialX" in "Keywords".
You can help yourself by clicking rkm (or f2) on shaders in the library and it will show you the way they are saved internally.
Had same issue and it took me a while to wrap my head around it.
