So, recently Intel lunched the new intel core ultra 9 285k witch seems that is multithreaded!
Now, compares to AMD 9950x which one should i go for?
Any in depth knowledge ll be much appreciated!

They're all multithreaded in the x86 world.
It looks like the AMD 3D VCache processors are the ones to grab. Currently the 8-core Strix Halos are starting to ship and sold out in around ten minutes, but they're going to reach 16 cores in the client line, 32 (possibly more?) in the HEDT line (aka Threadripper), and I think EPYC will max out with 128.
