Hi guys,
I'm trying to get a material value from my crowd agents that will allow me to apply a ramp to each agent to shade the agent darker the closer towards their feet. It's kinda like P.y pass but if the terrain is uneven then that doesn't work since each agent is in a different Y pos.
I tried unpacking the agents and applying a distance from surface node attribute to the geometry but then I have issues when I pack the agents, and they don't get read into solaris the same way and that messes up the existing material assignments.
So, I'm thinking there might be a way to do this via materials with materialx.
Can anybody advise me here. Maybe I'm thinking about this incorrectly.
