Hello all!
Noticing some weird behavior scripting exporting cameras from Houdini to load into Maya. In Houdini, I have a camera node within a subnet. The subnet has been scaled to 0.1. I export the subnet using an ABC ROP node and an FBX ROP node. What's weird is, when I go to load both of them into Maya, the camera exported via ABC is consistently far larger than the FBX export.
Has anyone heard of, or seen this behavior before? Is there a setting I'm unaware of that needs to be turned off/on?
These are the settings for exporting the FBX, and the ABC:

Just a guess, but FBX likely directly exports your values and since I believe FBX values are in cm that can result in a very small values once imported into DCC set to converts units to m or dm
If you check Convert Units, it should use hip file Scene units settings to do the conversion for you, which would be by default from m
abc doesn't assume units so every DCC should write and read the raw values
So you either try the Convert units option with the hip file units set to match that of your Maya scene or if Maya can import fbx without converting the units you should be able to import your current fbx at the same size as abc that way
