Splitting a Playing Card | The Edgerton Shot | Slow Motion
2月 21, 2024
Unlike the previous attempt, this time I refused to let it pass unnoticed. A meticulous endeavor to faithfully replicate the iconic Edgerton Shot by Harold Eugene Edgerton. I drew inspiration from a video reference sourced directly from the Smarter Everyday YouTube channel.
With a focus on slow-motion and close-up shots, I ventured into the project with high hopes. While I must admit that the tear and paper fray could have been improved, I ultimately decided to follow the 80-20 rule and cease further refinements.
All the textures used in this project are generated procedurally, with the exception of the Queen of Hearts. Rendered using Arnold.
