thanks, you really should add an option like in 3ds max to save everything you ever customized like hotkeys, toolbars, menus, colors etc…or at least add a simple description saying where you can find the file/s that correspond to the different customizables, and then you can back it up somewhere on a different drive…

Everything like this should be in C:\Users\Username\Documents\houdini15.5 so you should be able to backup.

No, we only save the changes you make (they go in the file HotkeyOverrides under your houdni15.5 preferences directory). The default hotkeys are all in $HH/config/Hotkeys (all the text files in there get read in).

What version are you using? I believe this bug was fixed in 15.5.502.

I'm not sure what you mean about saving the hotkey “chart” to a file…

It is fixed indeed in 15.5
