i'm wondering if it is possible to use a cad drawing made in 2004 autocad Lt as a image plane in houdini and if so could some one PLease give me step by step instructions, also would it be possible to use drawings made in autocad as profile curves to create a model in houdini?

hi I'm new to houdini and have a few questions
first how can you just plane snap to the grid not just the c-plane
second does any one know of good tutorials for beginers to houdini not, just the 3d buzz, and ones from sidefx website.
