Hey guys, I have a question involving using the shatter SOP after an initial break.
For example, say I want to blow a hole in the wall using the Break SOP(using the sphere) and then break that piece into much smaller pieces using the shatter SOP, how would one go about to do this? I have seen it done before but was not able to figure out how he had achieved this..
Is there a way to group geometry from a Break selection? All my attempts have failed :roll:

Hi, I have been attempting to use global illumination in Mantra following this tutorial:

However, no matter what settings I use (full irradiance, ambient occlusion, path tracing, etc. also tried using both ray tracing/depth map shadows in the light options) the results are all the same.
I directed the light template in the obj scene view to the Vex global illumination in the Shop. I have no idea why I am not getting the results, I followed the steps to a T!
Any input in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
