UT_NetPacket::read: No such file or directory 2008年12月18日18:17
Hi guys,
I have been getting this error every time I render, whether it's flipbook or through a ROP network using Mantra. It doesn't happen every single image, but if I render a sequence it happens every 3-4 images, and also about every 3-4 individual renders.
The full error is:
UT_NetPacket::read: No such file or directory
My specs are:
Houdini: 9.5.303
CPU: Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66ghz
RAM: 2GB
O/S: Windows XP Pro 32bit
Hope that's enough. I can post any extra information. I haven't noticed any other weird behaviour except one which occured while trying to make digital assets, but I can't reproduce it now and it has stopped happening.
The UT_NetPacket error occurs regardless of which file. No matter how many news ones I make, it still occurs.
One other thing: I tried a suggestion in another thread to set the windows environment variable:
HOUDINI_DISABLE_MMX 1
That didn't make a difference.
Thanks for the help in advance.

Hey there. I just came back to this, I've been a little busy.
Does that mean in my case, then,. that I can never use Houdini on this computer again? Are you saying there's no way around this?

Ok, thank you very much. I'd be more than grateful if you could find out for me. I will reply again if I manage to figure it out, but if I have not replied then you can assume I haven't figured it out and am crying in some corner somewhere begging it to work
