Hey All,
I have been getting a lot more frequent crashes when using Houdini and Renderman 26.2. I am not a Karma user. Attached is one such crash log. I can be doing various things.. adjust a shader network, running an IPR, etc. Can anyone with knowledge glean anything from the attached log file?

Here are my specs:
AMD Threadripper 7890x with 128 Gb RAM
Linux Mint 22
RenderMan 26.2
Houdini 20.5.404 -- But the crashes happen in other previous versions, I started noticing at 20.5.370
Plugins - AELib, SideFX Labs 20.5.404, MOPs, qLib

UPDATE: I think it might be one of the plugins AELib or qLib.. removing them seems to bring stability.

If you type "dnf provides */libxss1" ... this command should tell you what package has that library file.

I also noticed that the library files you installed are for the i686 platform. You might want to install the files for the x86-64 platform instead. i686=32 bit architectures and x86_64=64 bit architectures. Since Houdini is a 64 bit application.. this might be your issue.

That definitely helped. Thanks. Am I losing any functionality disabling indexing... other than the obvious performance of using the help system? It still ramps up but not nearly as badly. Thanks again guys for the help.
