so can i export my geometry into 3ds max? this would really help a lot. please help thanks

is there any ways that I can take a scene from 3Ds Max and bring it into houdini? it would really help me out because now I need to create some explosions and it'd really be a lot easier to do in houdini than in max. thanks!
