I wrote a first draft intro tutorial on how to use Visual TCL with Houdini on one of the odforce forum threads. This was back when 5.5 was still around. Unfortunately, I never did manage to go back and add all the pictures I wanted. Given the new current version, the pictures might be a bit outdated anyhow.

Anyone who wants to take a crack at fixing it up is welcome to. Just PM me with an e-mail address to send it to.
