However when I save the .hip file to my set project and open it back up everything is gone in the scene except for nodes with errors. If I set a project with a cube or whatever and save the .hip file I am having no problems. I'm sure it's something simple but I cannot figure what's wrong… new to Houdini.

I don't think the list of Quadros on the graphics cards page has been updated since the P4000 was released. It should work with Houdini.

Is something not working with that graphics card? If so, what's not working? Can you describe the set of steps that cause the problem? What driver version are you using? What operating system? If it's Windows 10, what updates do you have? (We've had some problems with Windows 10's automatic updates silently installing bad graphics drivers.)

No problems, just didn't see the P4000 on the list of supported graphics cards.

Am I completely out of luck?
