Hi, does anybody know how to export Houdini hair’s uv as a groom_root_uv attribute into Unreal 5.0?
Just use a rename attribute on the uv attribute and rename it to groom_root_uv, if it doesn't work take a look at the unreal doc and see what type of att it is (float etc...) and convert it to that.

I can’t seem to arrive at exporting the udims in texture form or figuring out another way to use them in shaders.
Can anyone help me out with that ?
I’ve tried messing with the height field output node.
The only way I got it working is using a for each node and manually changing the single pass value as wel as change the number.
I`l automate it and post it here but if anyone has a better solution I`d love to hear it.
Try to use a COP net set to volume slice and with center on 0.5 / 0.5.
In there you can treat the tex masks as images!

Hello everyone! I'm doing a groom with h20 and I was all crazy about tex mask paint node, but I found out when switching between 2d and 3d mode sometimes the node freaks out and vanish with all my paint .
And no I didn't hit the clear button even tough the 2d and clear button are close friends.
I'm on a Ryzen 7 1700 / Rtx 3060 Studio driver 546.01 / Houdini 20.0.533 (daily).
