I hope you can help me …

I am lucky enough to have PRman ( tutor license) .. it is all setup and working well, and I would like to be able to render from Houdini … it does render actually, but the only thing is the shaders do not appear in the material view. I have defined a export variable on my bashrc file pointing to the ri_shaders directory in the houdini installation directory , but still the shaders don't appear in the material view, which would be nice.

Any suggestions to how can I get Houdini to see my hand written shaders, and the ones in the Houdini directory too !!..

Hi All,

I hope this is the right spot to ask this question … I have just installed Houdini 11, ver 547 on Fedora 14 linux ( apprentice). the thing is although all seems to run well ( I can do stuff in it) , my Houdini has no Icons !!!

I know Houdini apprentice is free, but this is unacceptable !! ( just joking ..) obviously something is wrong, PATH ??

Any suggestions ??
