How to remove the part(s) I need using the mask 2024年1月19日1:21
Good afternoon, I am trying to generate a coast in houdini 18.5, and small rocks (so far in the simplest form) with the following actions - I take curve, in an arbitrary format, then add spheres along its length, and place them on the surface of the heightfield node, thereby extruding with the help of the shape of the sphere - the shape of the rock.
Faced with the following problem - I want to automatically remove the coast, from the opposite part of the meshes, because I do not really need it, but from here follows another problem - if you try to remove in blender, then:
1) The mesh does not take into account the relief;
2) And after deleting remain "jagged" parts of the vertices.
Accordingly, my question is how to make it so that in houdini, I can add a height mask (using any node that allows to do this), and after that, I can remove those parts that are brighter.
