Voxel Mesh SOPは、ポリゴンから VDB を作成し、それをポリゴンに戻すというよくあるワークフローのショートカットです。また、ボリュームを元のメッシュに投影したり、膨張させたり削ったりするなどの機能もいくつか追加されています。

    would be nice to have Dilate + Smooth + Erode + Final Smooth options like in particlefluidsurface/Filter Tab instead of just single erode
    or if the plan is to keep it simple, maybe just Close/Open slider (before Dilate/Erode) that would open or close holes of SDF as that is pretty useful operation and keeps the original shape better than Dilate + Mesh + Reproject

      Good suggestion! The idea is definitely to keep it simple though. How do you picture the Close/Open slider to work, I didn't see it in the particlefluidsurface node

        Open operation is Erode by N followed by Dilate by N
        Close operation is Dilate by N followed by Erode by N

        advantage of having them as Dilate/Erode combo is that you can insert smoothing inbetween, and that's what particlefluidsurface does
        however for simplicity when not inserting any operation inbetween it can be done as a single VDB Reshape set to Open or Close
        so it will just open/close holes, and smooths out sharp corners, so one opeen/close slider can do open in negative range and close in positive or something along those lines

          Yeah I think the single slider should work. I can also add a smooth in there anyways and just happen to keep it in between the dilate/erode so you can smooth it, or smooth it in the right place when opening/closing.

    I see that the " bounding box relative" checkbox is missing in the newest version of the toolset. How do I standardize the voxels over multiple pieces without this option?

    Can this tool make quad mesh ? As far as i know making vdb from polygon and convert it back to geo makes triangle geo. How does is make the geo quad?

    Is it possible to add the option to transfer the UVs to the new voxel mesh?
