Please note the warning in the title… The following is an old man rant:

For nearly 15 years, I've been performing the following gesture <TAB, F, I, Enter> to get the trusty old file sop. Muscle memory is pretty strong in that regard.

And now… NOW… some new kid… that I hardly EVER use…

… Please get him off my lawn!?… pretty please?!

ps: I'm sure the new guy is very nice, but perhaps he can be renamed to something else?

I would have thought that's what the oprename command is suppose to address but it doesn't seem to be working.

+1 for renaming the new kid.

That's why it's better to devise your own hotkey system IMO. Single key hotkeys FTW Though later on I will need to extend on this due to larger number of useful operators than available letters on the keyboard.
