That sounds great Robert—– I think this is going to be a very good initiative . I mean you will get all kinds of free advertisement all over the place —and we get a chance to sport some gear that says something about what we think is a rather special tool and company.

silkscreen?? I really posted that? Damn I feel old.

I think printed shirts and hats will sell fast.

You could even have a shirt design contest of a rendered scene based on the logo.

a simple way could be to setup a thread-less account.

I´m so happy with my SIGGRAPH Houdini Engine t-shirt

The black one, of course, the orange one is only good for supporting games of the Netherlands national football team

That would be awesome. Imagine a whole bunch of dutch footballers at a bar in orange HEngine T-shirts.

We have investigated some online T-shirt companies but we were always concerned about the end price for you. A T-shirt in the $25-30 range seemed the norm and that seemed too high. Do you know of a company where we can set up without carrying inventory and sell for less? Or is that kind of price OK?

There is a company that gives you good quality with lower price. It costs only $5 to $10. You can customize whatever you want. I already have 6 Houdini T-shirts from them.
This is company's website.

Hey Rob, I've never used them but I've heard good things about Teespring: http://teespring.com/ [teespring.com]

Crowdfunded and decently cheap. Looks like orders only get printed/charged if enough sell, so no risk of overstock.

Any news on this? My buddy and fellow student, who I started learning Houdini with, is having his birthday at the end of September - and I would love to get a T-shirt for him

I am sure Robert might have his hands full with somethings besides our Houdini gear needs…….but hopefully its still on the radar of things to work on and get out.

So I wonder —will I actually learn faster wearing a Houdini tee-shirt? Probably not but I will think I am.

As Rob said $25-30 might be a bit pricy but this link from the Community dropdown should still be valid to order from right ?
