Houdini Main Changelogs
9.0.654 | Added toggles to the "Viewing Controls" submenu entries in the RMB menu of the network pane. They used to be available in the pane menu in H8.2, and are still available burried in the display options dialog (on "Common" tab). The toggles for parameters, tree view, and groups are used often (and have hotkeys assigned), so for quicker discoverability they are now included in the "Viewing Controls" submenu. |

9.0.654 | Particle Fluid Object shelf tool now works a bit differently. It creates a new object to hold the fluid. This allows it to create a place holder POP network to hold POP nodes and also pre-build a surfacing SOP (which is conveniently set with the render flag) to render as a surface rather than points. |

9.0.654 | When an invocation of the shelf tool fails, Houdini cleans up any changes made by the tool script by the time it failed. Thus, it appears as the tool did not run at all (rather than leaving partially created nodes and changing only some parameters). |
