Houdini Main Changelogs

9.0.299

A number of improvements were made to the Deform Muscle SOP to improve the behaviour of points near joints. First, inflation can now be done using Metaball Normals, which will help keep points from inflating to the wrong side of the muscle. Points in joint groups are given special treatment to make sure they do not inflate to the far side of the muscles in the opposite side of the joint. Inflation now works even if the maximum deflation distance is set to 0 (a bug fix). The stability of the inflation was also improved to fix some cases of popping. As a result of these improvements, collision detection is no longer necessary and has been removed. Also, center point inflation and tightness were also removed as they are not necessary.

The right mouse button in the network view brings up a context sensitive menu. That is, in addition to menu for nodes and connectors, a pane menu will pop up when the right mouse button is pressed over the background (for now, this menu contains the Ctrl+RMB entries).
