The MPlay Load File... dialog now loads single images correctly (as a single frame at frame 1). You can load a single image from a sequence in one of two ways:

  • By entering the filename without $F (foo100.jpg), or selecting it when the'Filter Sequences of Files into Single Entries' button is off.
  • By selecting the image sequence and then changing the 'Image Sequence'menu to 'Single Image' and selecting the frame to display.

Added the ability to save fallback OTL paths to the hip file, copied nodes, and opwrite generated files. These are paths to OTLs which Houdini can use if it fails to recognize the type when attempting to instantiate it. This ability is not yet enabled.

The Extrude SOP now has a Hole Polygon option which lets one disable the automatic holing of the incoming geometry. This is useful when a polygon soup is extruded and one does not want chance overlaps to result in holing.
