9.0.5

Re-enabled and greatly enhanced the Capture and Deform Metaball SOPs.

New features and enhancements:

  • Metaball objects are now input by typing their path into a parameterof the Capture Metaball SOP instead of wiring them directly intoboth Capture and Deform Metaball SOPs. No extra wiring is necessarynow.
  • Capture Metaball now supports visualization using the primitive orpoint colors of the metaballs, in exactly the same way the CaptureSOP does visualization.
  • The Capture Layer Paint SOP and Object-level Paint Capture Layerstool/state now support painting metaball weights. Note thatcurrently, only points that are captured to metaballs can be painted.
  • The Paint Capture Layer tool/state now has a "Region" menu forselecting which bone or metaball group to paint. This menumust be used to select metaball groups, but clicking is stillallowed for bones.

The Lag and Overshoot parameters of the Lag CHOP are now restricted to positive (or zero) values. Negative values made the equation unstable, which would produce infinite values very quickly.
