You can now have an arbitrary number of layers with the Layer SOP. Previously, when one had over 16 layers with textures, there was the risk of crashes when displaying the geometry.

Hitting Apply or Accept in the Desktop... manager will now save the changes to disk regardless of the Desktop Autosave option. This matches the old default behaviour, allowing it to be used in the same fashion as before despite Desktop Autosave now defaulting to off.
