Multiparm temporary dialogs are now written to the temp directory, rather than $HFS/houdini/config/Dialogs. This avoids several problems with writing data to a shared location in a multi-user environment, and a location that might be read-only at that.

When selecting items in the viewport, if there are multiple items under the cursor, it is now possible to choose which of the items will be selected through a pop-up menu. To enable this menu, select "Popup Menu Selection" in the Objects and Geometry subheading of the Preferences dialog.
