Houdini Main Changelogs

6.2.37

The java hscript command now dedicates a unique communication port to each java process. This prevents bugs when two Houdini sessions are running simultaneously, each with its own java command running. The port is closed automatically when the asssociated java process exits.

The "opparm" command has been extended to accept '-p' and '-c' options. The '-p' forces the value of a parameter at a keyframe into a pending state, even though the general animation preference settings may be set to commit the value right away. Similarly, '-c' option forces the value to of a parameter at a keyframe to be committed right away. Please, refer to the help on "opparm" command for more details.

When Houdini is in Never mode an appropriate message is displayed on the top of all 3d viewports. This should serve to remind people why their geometry is not updating. This message is the same as the one in the COP viewer.
