Houdini Main Changelogs

6.1.53

The Subdivide SOP now has a Recompute Normals option which is on by default. This means when subdividing geometry with normals, a more expected result will be achieved. The old behaviour can be restored by turning off this option.

6.1.53

Subdivide SOP now has a Recompute Normals option. This is similar to the SoftPeak SOP's Recompute Normals. It will rebuild the normals if the original geometry had normals. This avoids using the interpolated normals which are usually smoother than desired. Note this option is on by default.
