It is now possible to create custom object types that contain captured geometry. This allows practical use of fully rigged re-useuable characters.

The Capture and CaptureProximity SOPs now generate an additional capture attribute named pCaptSkelRoot. This is a detail attribute which specifies the root path to which all the cregion paths in the pCaptPath attribute is relative to. It is generated as the longest root path that is common to all the full paths of the capture regions. Furthermore, the Deform SOP now has a Skeleton Path Root parameter which allows the user to override this attribute for skeleton retargetting.

On Linux, Wacom Tablet pressure sensitivity and tilt is supported wherever it is on Windows. This includes the Paint, Sculpt, Comb, and Capture Paint SOPs, and the Mouse CHOP. It will work so long as the Wacom is properly installed as "stylus", "eraser", and "cursor". For instructions on set up, see:
