It is now possible to have menu, check box, string, and button style parameters get their values by referencing another parameter. This referencing will work even in locked subnet operator types. The referencing is set up automatically when you drag and drop a node onto the Parameter list in the Type Properties dialog of an operator. Existing operator types will still not work. You will need to re-create the parameter references in the Type Properties dialog.

Houdini now saves out channels in double precision in hip files as opposed to single precision. This means that these hip files will no longer be able to be loaded in versions of Houdini 5.5 prior to build 279.

Fixed numerical precision problems when sourcing in scripts with chkey commands, saving it out as a hip, and then reloading the hip. Previously, this could result in slightly different key values or key times, when reloaded.
