MPlay now handles lock files more intelligently.

  • The hostname of the machine MPlay is launched on is appended tothe lock file (.mplay.host) so that the same user with a remoteshared home directory can run MPlay on different machines withouta conflict.
  • COP Flipbooking uses a different lock file (.flipbook.host) so thatrendering and flipbooking can be done simultaneously withoutinterfering with one another.
  • Stale lock files are properly detected and overriden (MPlay willcontinue to load instead of exitting). Valid lock files stillhalt MPlay.
