Edit is all about undos and redos. Settings contains the global setting dialogs and the settings local to the current Houdini session. Global settings are those that typically go under $HOME/houdiniX.X. This menu features the first instance of nested menus in Houdini! Tools has two sections: one that deals with all kinds of features related to OPs, and another that executes simple actions. Windows deals with dialogs not directly related to OPs. The first section lists various floating pane types, while the second section contains very general dialogs and shells. Help has lost the "Help Tags" toggle, which is now under Settings. |
