Houdini Main Changelogs

4.9.582

The UVTexture SOP and Fractal SOP now default to the Y axis rather than the Z axis. This is to make them consistent with the new grid orientation. To restore the old defaults, set the old defaults and select "Make Permament Defaults" from the parm dialog.

  • If a SOP refrences an invalid group, the group is ignored. Atmost, a yellow warning flag is generated. Thus, a SOP whichspecifies only a non-existant group becomes a no-op.
  • In rare cases, some SOPs like the Transform SOP could deletetheir own groups, creating false invalid group errors. Thesehave been fixed.
