VMantra will now perform derivative smoothing. This should result in better anti-aliasing of textures and more noticably, fewer seam problems in displacement mapping. The smooth derivatives should also allow some non-photorealistic shaders produce better results. In some cases, this may not be the desired behaviour. All functions which use derivatives (Du, Dv, area, computenormal, filterstep, texture, environment, etc.) now take an optional argument to control smoothing (which is on by default), for example: Cf = scale*area(P, "smooth", 0);
