Added the HOUDINI_UI_SATURATION environment variable, which reduces or increases the color saturation of Houdini's user interface. The default is 1 (as is), values less than one reduce the coloring of the UI, 0 produces monochrome UI and values greater than 1 super-saturate Houdini.

Drag-n-drop between shops and the viewport (from the object level). Shops are stuffed into the appropriate object parameters. Drag-n-drop betweeen palette and the viewport (palette is first loaded into a new shop, then the object parameter is stuffed with its location).

It's a cleaner new world (to the user, at least): the MAT, TOP, and COP entries have been removed from the navigation menu. To enable them, you must set an environment variable called HOUDINI_COPTOPMAT.

The three editors are still there even if not visible. By Houdini 6, however, they (and the whole code behind them) will be completely removed from the software. Then we will also eliminate the HOUDINI_COPTOPMAT environment variable.

The Houdini user interface can now be customized using the environment variables: HOUDINI_UI_GAMMA HOUDINI_UI_CONTRAST HOUDINI_UI_BRIGHTNESS By default, they are all set to 1 and applied to the UI colors in the order listed above. Only UI gadgets are affected; all viewports, previews, ramps and color indicators are not modified.
