Houdini Main Changelogs

6.2.22

Added a menu toggle option to some handles that allows them to be always aligned to the world axes. The initial setting is determined from the preference dialog Settings > Main Preferences... under the handle options. When "Default Handle Alignment to World" is turned on, the handles will align themselves to the world axes and will stay that way. Otherwise, the handles will be aligned to object (as they were so far).

The alignment of the handle can be changed any time from the handle menu (right click on the handle) by toggling "Handle Aligned to World".

6.2.21

gwavefront has a new -d option which explicitly reads and outputs groups named 'default' instead of using the empty string. This new behaviour can be obtained by using the new -d option to gwavefront and modifying the contents of file $HH/GEOio. This provides a solution for problems with external applications not properly handling unnamed groups such as Wings 3D.
