SideFX participates in and hosts events around the world to connect with the Houdini community. Here's a 2025 overview to help you decide which events work best for you.

Houdini HIVE Presentations
Houdini HIVE presentations are lecture-format talks covering a range of Houdini topics. You should try to join us in person although these presentations are recorded and posted online for the wider community except when permissions won't allow it.
Houdini IGNITE Workshops
Houdini IGNITE workshops are instructor-led lessons that provide hands-on experience with Houdini. Bring your own laptop and dive into Houdini under the guidance of an expert. These lessons may get posted as a tutorial series at some point after the event.

Last year SideFX hosted the worldwide Houdini community in Toronto at Houdini HIVE Horizon. This year Houdini HIVE Equinox goes bigger with a five-day event where participants have access to IGNITE workshops, HIVE presentations, and social events.
