Conditional Vertex Animation Textures is an advanced feature of SideFX Labs Vertex Animation Textures 3.0. This project contains a HIP file which shows you how to prepare a simple RBD test asset. It also contains a Unreal demo project (4.26) that demonstrates how to set up the asset Blueprint, Render Target Materials, and VAT Material necessary to achieve non-standard, gameplay-driven vertex animations where you can define complex custom playback conditions.

    I think it is even suitable for destroying the car body because the direction does not matter. do you agree?

      Yes, it's not limited to RBD. You can use this with soft-body deformation. The Blueprint / Render Target setup will mostly be the same.

    Is this possible as an Indie user? Since we don't have access to .hip files, only .hiplc which are supposed to be a different format.
