Luchador & Chicken
Film/TV
The Luchador and the Chicken were created by Od Studios in cooperation with SideFX. These files are designed to demonstrate the process of character rigging using the new APEX system - from setting up the foundation and working with autorig components to mastering procedural skinning.
These files cover all the necessary steps in order to build an apex rig from scratch, such as:
- procedural skinning
- using skeletons as guides for APEX rigging
- working with autorig components and creating custom components
- organizing the character using the new packed folder system
- exporting the final character
- assembling an animation scene with the new characters

Hi William and Od Studios, thanks a lot for the resources, they're very illuminating, especially for things that are new like APEX. I'm dissecting the setup and seeing quite many stash nodes of componentscript, which I hope you guys could give us more insights into the ins and outs of. Could you please kindly help?
Cheers,

Ah, silly me, I found it! They are all visible in the APEX Network View. Many thanks, again!

Is apex rigscript approach still relevant, can you explain please. Is it more convenient to use the autorig nodes now?

Rigs are broken in the animate scene but work properly in the rig scene
