Toucan Rig
Film/TV

Learn how to prepare the Toucan model for rigging. Start with how to set up the skeleton and capture the mesh then how to prepare the guide skeleton, add tags and add other metadata that is used in the components. For the Toucan, you can also set up a groom so that it is embedded in the rig with full animation controls.

FYI. Toucan_A.png is missing in the textures folder. Awesome network.

    Thanks Grenn.
The proxy textures have already been convered and we ended up not using Toucan_A in the material.
The proxy texture setup is just an example of how you can quickly downres the textures for animation. So not needed for the setup :)

Hi Greg, the Groom setup will be in another example file, this is purely about the rig setup.

The downloadable file is different from that rig shown in the video. There is no "pose_closed_wing_l_abst" control to control open/closed wing pose.

I can not find the groom example file that William referes to. Was this already uploaded? If not, would it be possible to get the groom file that Andriy Bilichenko is showing in his Hive-talk? I am very keen on looking into this. Thank you!
