Don't know what's going on, but I have downloaded the scene. Set Viewport to Karma CPU (tried XPU as well). Set camera to Camera1.
During the demo it looked beautiful and rendered super fast. My render looks like crap, nothing like what was in the demo and takes 30 min to render on both CPU and XPU.

yeh this was quite slow to render on a 3090 with XPU; changed imaged mode to bucket and tried different bucket sizes. Reduces samples, reduced limits. A bit disappointed with XPU times to be honest. I'm sadly feeling like I still need redshift.

are you sure you guys know how to use it ??????? if you don't know how to use houdini 20 karma, don't say something like this, i got AMD 5500 + GTX 1650 super, my render time i can get under around 30min a frame, You Need To Know How to Setup and how to use it
under AMD 5950X+ GTX 3090 , this render time will get down to 15min max, if you have 4090 your render time will go under 10 min mark, of course you will need to use Linux, if you are on Windows, i would hahahahhahah,,, no one use Window

The render time on Windows 10 on a 4090 using the display drivers is ~9:30. It may be faster in TCC mode if XPU supports it, I haven't tested yet. It IS hilarious.

Your toxic attitude tells me everything I need to know about someone like you. Rather than help, you need to feel like the big man on campus and try to make others feel small. How about this Jerry Jerry, why not show us your knowledge of Houdini, show us your portfolio.

if you love redshift go for it, why try houdini??

I don't know if you know this or not but... Redshift needs a DCC to work, and Houdini is a DCC.

Hi, this may sound a silly question, but I'm not able to open the files. The downloaded file is a .zip but when I unzip it I dont see a .hip file, instead just a bunch of files. How to open it in houdini?
