Houdini Insight LMS
The Houdini Insight LMS [Learning Management System] is primarily designed for instructors and trainers who are incorporating Houdini into their programs. This platform provides access to specially-curated educational material on a wide range of Houdini tools and workflows, as well as tips and tricks, annotated .hip files, and distributable classroom resources.
Here are some of the features available on the Houdini Insight LMS:
COURSE CATALOG - Choose from a growing collection of courses to align your learning with the needs of your students.
COURSE PROGRAMS - Join a course to gain access to a curated list of materials, including videos and recommended course outlines.
VIDEO LESSONS - Watch video lessons to explore each topic. Completing each video advances your progress though a course.
ANNOTATED .HIP FILES - Build a full understanding of Houdini at work by reviewing completed scene files with the Network View annotated.
VISUAL GUIDES - Several courses include visual guides that can be used by instructors and students to support their work in Houdini.

Curriculum-in-a-Box
SideFX’s Curriculum-in-a-Box is designed for Secondary school or early-year University teachers. If you are looking to introduce Houdini to your students, but have limited classes, weeks or modules to do so, trying to distill Houdini down into a short presentation can be daunting. SideFX’s Curriculum-in-a-Box will help you add introductory Houdini content to your curriculum in less time.
The intention of Curriculum-in-a-Box is to empower teachers/instructors to deliver Houdini learning content in institutions where it is not yet taught. We want you to feel confident while teaching, and with our varied documentation for each lesson, our Curriculum-in-a-Box will guide you towards bringing these concepts to your students.
