License Server Woes

After updating Houdini to the latest daily build in order to get around the immediate crash issue with OSX Lion, I ran into a new problem:

Launching Houdini prompts the license server to come up and ask if I want to install my Apprentice License. I do so, it asks if I want to run Houdini, I say yes. Houdini launches, and then the license server comes up again asking if I want to install a license.

It seems the license file continues to log a new license every time? The license server seems to be in working order otherwise, it just doesn't seem to be telling Houdini that ..

Anyone have this problem on OSX Lion?

Just got home from work, opened my laptop, opened Houdini. Works fine.

No change from last night besides the computer having been asleep for 10 hours. Go figure.

I have been having exactly the same issue. Every time I open Houdini it opens the License Administrator instead and prompts to install the licenses. If I open the License Administrator directly it will show existing apprentice licenses…

It has been like this for a few days. I keep trying newer and newer daily build, but it never works.

Try rebooting and then starting Houdini. When the license administrator pops up, go to the main menu and choose View > Diagnostics. Post your results.
